This course combines creativity with the practical underpinning skills needed to succeed in the exciting and challenging fashion industry.

The Diploma of Apparel, Fashion and Textiles begins by developing the essential skills for a career in fashion design, including sewing, pattern cutting, digital design and textile development. You will learn in simulated workplace design studios where original design interpretations, lateral thinking and extensive research are encouraged.

Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to become involved in our creative community, participate in collaborations across a range of learning areas, and gain valuable real-world industry experience.

On completion, you will have developed an impressive and versatile skill set that can prepare you for further study or employment in the fashion industry.

This course is offered exclusively in Semester One each year.
